Meningioma Associated with Cystic Lesions

Abstract

|
|
We report a case of intracranial meningioma associated with cystic lesions in 59-year old woman, and 71 other cases from the literature are reviewed.
The cysts were intrinsic and extrinsic io the tumor and contained xanthochromic fluid. The multiple etiologies suggested for the formation of the peritumoral or intratumoral cyst were discussed.
